CNC Machined Inertia Disks
These CNC machined inertia discs were developed quickly in order to resolve a customer's quality concerns. The parts they were supplying to, a major automotive manufacturer, had to be retrofitted with the discs - of which there were over 50,000.
High Tolerance Tooling
In order to cold form metals, the tool used to indent its impression must be of a high tolerance. This Mandrel is capable of withstanding immense pressure to produce the same contoured shape in the material. J8 successfully manufacture over 300 per year, along with hundreds of support rolls for a UK manufacturer.
